Explosive atmospheres are not only gas. Grain, flour, sugar, plastic powder and metal dust create dust Zones (typically 20 / 21 / 22). “We have a gas certificate” is not enough—dust protection type and enclosure integrity must be verified separately.
Field examples
- Under-silo weighing and dosing
- Pneumatic conveying lines
- Bagging / big-bag stations
Watch-outs
- Dust build-up on cooling paths and gaskets
- Static control and earthing continuity
- Cleaning procedures vs hot-work rules
Next step: Share your Zone classification and process gas/dust profile; we will prepare a quote from our Exproof product collection (HMI, barcode, access and peripherals). Genius Core acts as Official Distributor for this series with selection and documentation support.
